Technical Writing & Workshops
Continuous Learning
At Seattle Pacific University, I have had the opportunity to develop training materials and contribute to workshops to educate faculty and staff on various technologies available to students, faculty, and staff. In recent initiatives, our department has been integrating Windows 11 and introducing Microsoft Copilot as a powerful AI tool for faculty and staff campus-wide. We are also introducing other Microsoft applications to incorporate into faculty classrooms and department operations. As part of this process, I have conducted in-person and recorded online workshops to demonstrate these technologies, giving users the chance to learn both synchronously and asynchronously. Additionally, I have successfully developed training sessions using Panopto for asynchronous learning. These sessions offer concise overviews of Windows 11, Microsoft Copilot, and Microsoft Forms, complemented by video tutorials demonstrating how to effectively utilize their features.
I have included links to my work, which is hosted within our SPU Wiki, to serve as comprehensive documentation and resources for campus students, faculty, and staff. These resources aim to support users in maximizing their use of the new technologies provided.
