Technology Integration & Training

Learning Forward

At Seattle Pacific University, I design training materials and lead workshops that help faculty and staff get the most out of campus technologies. Recent initiatives include supporting the rollout of Windows 11 and introducing Microsoft Copilot as a powerful AI tool for faculty and staff.

I create learning experiences in multiple formats, from live workshops to on-demand Panopto training sessions covering Windows 11, Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Forms. These resources combine clear explanations with step-by-step video tutorials, allowing users to learn at their own pace while building confidence with new tools.

One highlight of my work is a decision-making simulation I created for student IT technicians using Microsoft Forms, Lovo, and Powtoon. By leveraging tools already in our Microsoft-based ecosystem, I built a scalable, cost-effective alternative to traditional authoring tools like Articulate 360 or Adobe Captivate—showcasing how creative use of existing resources can produce engaging, interactive learning. Feel free to interact with this simulation on this page! Read more about this project on my blog.

Much of my work is hosted on the SPU Wiki, serving as a comprehensive library of resources that empowers students, faculty, and staff to confidently adopt and integrate new technologies.
