Technical Writing & Panopto Sessions

Asynchronous learning

At Seattle Pacific University, I have been tasked with developing training materials and documentation for various new technologies available to students, faculty, and staff.

In our latest initiative, which involves integrating Windows 11 and introducing Microsoft Copilot as a powerful AI tool for faculty and staff, I have successfully crafted training sessions using Panopto for asynchronous learning. These sessions offer concise overviews of Windows 11 and Microsoft Copilot, complemented by video tutorials demonstrating how to effectively utilize their features. Additionally, each session is accompanied by a PowerPoint presentation to enhance understanding.

Furthermore, I have created and linked pages within our internal SPU Wiki to serve as comprehensive documentation and resources for campus students, faculty, and staff. These resources aim to support users in maximizing their use of the new technologies provided.

I have also included our department blog which includes the article that I have contributed towards in support of the Windows 11 deployment process.
