At a family event, we sought a digital solution for organizing squares for the upcoming Super Bowl. While numerous templates exist online, none offered the ability to collaborate with others while maintaining an interactive board secure from tampering with names and numbers. Taking matters into my own hands, I devised a solution.

Utilizing Google Sheets, I crafted and engineered my own board. Extending beyond Google Sheets' built-in capabilities to protect specific squares, I wrote custom scripts using AppScripts to enable cells to be safeguarded after an edit is made within an available square. A square must remain blank to be considered available and will automatically lock once a value is entered.

Upon completion, this board was duplicated and shared, providing successful outcomes during multiple events.
